Design elements and Principles :
Design Elements and Principles are the basic units of a painting, drawing, design or other visual pieces. They are a second nature habit, which we unconsciously use not only to create art work but also in every day routine. These processes include:
Design Elements:
Colour
Shape
Texture
Space
Form
Design Principles:
Balance
Hierarchy
Scale/proportion
Similarity and contrast
Contrasts
Tone
Tone is a transition from light to dark or dark to light. It is the effect of light that essentially makes all objects and people look 3D.
Unit 1&2 students had to explore through colour and grey-lead render. Students needed to portray a realistic effect of skin and facial structure through these methods.
VCE Physics Excursion
Physics department has organised an excursion to Melbourne Luna Park in Week 6 in this term. All Physics students in all campuses were expected to attend the excursion as it was a part of curriculum in 2017. It was quite successful excursion in terms of having a chance to see the Physics principles and their application areas in their daily life other than learning just theory sentences on their textbooks. I would like to thank Mr. Sefa Bulbul and Mr. Serdar Takimoglu for helping and organizing their students for the excursion
